Deuteronomy 17,18,19,20,21
These verses from these chapters are about the Law
Deut 17 God explains to the Israelites what to do to appoint a King - Also never to go back to Egypt. The requirements - When he is seated on the Royal Throne he is to write a copy of the instructions for himself on a scroll in the presence of the Levitical priests. It is to remain with him and he is to read from it all the days of his life.
Deut. 18 Levitical Priests - Although Levi has no inheritance among his brothers the Lord is His inheritance.
Deut: 18 - 10 Abominations to be avoided
10) No one among you is to make his son or daughter pass through the fire, practice divination, tell fortunes, interpret omens, practice sorcery, cast spells consult a medium or a familiar spirit or inquire of the dead.
This verse is very important to us parents - watch what you bring into your home such as toys your purchase video games you allow your children to play there are a lot of demonic games and toys out there. Watch what your children are watching on TV and especially going to the movies. And mostly watch who your children hang out with and what games they are playing with. The devil is out there to kill and destroy the family life by these so called cute things that we think are OK and they are not!!! and the most important part is pray over your children that they serve the Lord all the days of their lives.
Deut: 18 - 22 How to recognize a prophet..
When a prophet speaks in the Lords name and the message does not come true or is not fulfilled, that is the message the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do Not be afraid of him!
Deut: 19 False witnesses. One witness cannot establish any wrong doing or sin against a person what ever that person has done a fact must be established by the testimony of 2 or 3 witnesses.
Deut: 20 Regarding war. Before going out to war he is to come and address the army. Do not be alarmed or terrified. 4) For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies and give you victory.
Romans 7: 22 for in my inner self I joyfully agree with Gods Law.
